There are about 260 enclaves—pieces of one country that are completely surrounded by another state—around the world. India has the most separated pieces, with 106 tiny enclaves surrounded by Bangladesh. The Indian village of Dahala Khagrabari is surrounded by a Bangladeshi enclave that is itself within an Indian enclave in Bangladesh. Other nations that have many enclaves are Bangladesh, with 92 enclaves in India, and Belgium, which has 22 enclaves in the Netherlands.
